Originally released in '69 on Philips/Mercury, this is the first solo project from Blue Cheer's guitarist. After recording Cheer's "Outside/Inside" (literally recorded standing outside of the studio because of the incredibly high decibels put out by the amplifiers), Stephens returned to the UK and began working with keyboardist Nicky Hopkins and drummer Nick Waller (Jeff Beck Group / Rod Stewart) to produce a work markedly different from the thundering B.C. A sound that is well structured, soft, psychedelic with a 'positive' outlook... quite a distance from his previous works. The cover art is a psychedelicaly flavored collage with a fire-red sky and an eye looking over the ocean.
